The Western Cape offers beaches, lush winelands around Stellenbosch and Paarl, craggy cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forest and lagoons along the Garden Route, and the city of Cape Town, beneath flat-topped Table Mountain.
Climate Weather
outh African weather is a combined result of the impact of the seas and the various landforms like the Highveld to the north and the south Namib to the north west. Climate in South Africa makes for hot dry atmosphere for the most part of the year in north west to western areas.
Required clothing
During summer, take light, summer clothes (shorts, dresses, light trousers, T shirts and sandals) and an umbrella for summer thunder showers. The evenings can be cooler so bring a sweater or light jacket along. During winter, long sleeves, jerseys, jackets, shoes and socks are needed.
