Country

Argentina is a massive South American nation with terrain encompassing Andes mountains, glacial lakes and Pampas grassland, the traditional grazing ground of its famed beef cattle. The country is famous for tango dance and music. Its big, cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, is centered on the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.

Business Economy

The economy of Argentina is a high-income economy, Latin America's third largest, and the second largest in South America behind Brazil. The country benefits from rich natural resources, a highly literate population, an export-oriented agricultural sector, and a diversified industrial base.

Natural Resources

fertile plains of the pampas, lead, zinc, tin, copper, iron ore, manganese, petroleum, uranium.

Higher Education

Argentine higher education system is divided in three levels .

  • Tertiary Education level: 1- to 3-years degrees related to education or technical professions like Teachers, Professorship, Technicians.
  • University level: 4- to 6-years Professional education taught at Universities offering many different degrees Licentiate, Engineer's degree, Medic Title, Attorney Title, Professorships, Translation degrees, etc.
  • Post-graduate level: This is a specialized and research-oriented education level. It is roughly divided in a first sub-level where a Specialist degree can be obtained in a 12–18 months period or Master's degree, requiring 24–30 months and an original research work and a higher sub-level where a Doctorate degree could be achieved

Tourism

Argentina is provided with a vast territory and a huge variety of climates and microclimates ranging from tundra and polar in the south to the tropical climate in the north, through a vast expanse of temperate climate and natural wonders like the Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the world outside the Himalayas, the widest river and estuary of the planet (the River Plate), the huge and very mighty Iguazú Falls, some of the flattest and wide meadows-plains of planet Earth.

Climate Weather

The bulk of central Argentina, including the Pampas farmland, Cordoba Hills, Mar de Plata and Buenos Aires, enjoys a moderate climate with hot, humid summers and cool, dry winters. Buenos Aires and the Pampas have a temperate climate; it's pretty cold in winter, hot and humid in summer. The deserts of Cuyo, which can reach temperatures of 50 degrees celsius (122° Fahrenheit), are extremely hot and dry in the summer and moderately cold and dry in winter.
